Your vehicle, matched responsibly

Book a driver in four simple steps.

DOD is different from a taxi or rideshare. You provide the eligible vehicle, and the platform helps you arrange a suitably licensed driver.

01

Tell us about your trip

Choose a pickup, destination, date and time. Request a driver on demand or schedule ahead.

02

Select your vehicle

Choose a saved vehicle or add one that is safe, roadworthy, legally compliant and appropriately insured.

03

Get matched

DOD matches the request with an available driver whose verified licence class and endorsements suit the vehicle.

04

Follow the journey

View driver details, follow trip progress and keep communication and payment within the DOD app.

The question behind DOD

What if the car is not the problem?

Many people already have a perfectly suitable vehicle. What they sometimes need is a trusted person who can drive it for them.

That simple observation became Driver on Demand: a platform being developed to connect customers and businesses with verified, appropriately licensed drivers for their own vehicles.

Founder & CEO · Driver on Demand NZ Limited

“DOD is more than a transport idea. It is about helping people keep their independence, supporting families when they need assistance, and creating flexible opportunities for qualified drivers.”

With experience in business management, leadership and customer service, Sagirmohammad recognised a practical gap in how people move: owning a vehicle does not always mean being able, available or comfortable enough to drive it. He founded DOD to connect eligible vehicles with verified driving capability while supporting independence, families, businesses and flexible driver opportunities.
